Default Code 58 login error ever since Wintersday endend

Ever since I downloaded the patches that returned Wintersday back to normal I've been getting frequent code 58 errors whenever I start up Guild Wars making it extremely difficult to log in. I'm behind a wireless router and I have adjusted both my router's firewall and my Norton's firewall and it work perfectly for many months. After the latest 2 updates (it started with the 1st and continued with the 2nd) it started doing this. After many times I can sometimes finally login and there aren't any further problems. I'm aware this is a router code but none of my other internet programs experience any problems and disabling all firewalls doesn't help either. I have also never experienced this behavior prior to those updates, read my words never. I was just wondering if anyone else experiences this problem or knows a possible solution.

I got code:58 once, it was immidietly after the patch that removed wintersday. On second attempt of login I got no error (did not close down GW between attempts).

The thing is I have no router , so in my case it was a glitch of some kind or the error message is mislabeled. (Dont know if this helps you find problem).

Have you tried connecting without the router?

This error 58 crap started for me just today. I was playing fine even up ntil last night, but then this morning, bam, no login for me.

I'm not connecting through a router either. I contacted support, who first directed me to the page on the website for fixing this error, but none if it helped, so I'm awaiting a second reply.
